I've got problems with clearance above and below the rear axle for a dual exhaust on the V8 (damn you Panhard rod). So I'm looking at side exit systems... My favourites (at the moment) are the Nascar styleee Boom tubes.... Also like the Merc SLR/Pug 907 look.... So any more? Good excuse to bash up some Rods with lake pipes/zoomies if nothing else

I have always loved the mercedes 300 slr exhausts, super nice! Or cosworth - And the the IMSA style - Ive always wanted a side exit, but its realy difficult when the engine is at the back of the car. Ive been planning and i may be able to get one to come out just infront of the rear wheel, however I will have to fit a turbocharger to do it, not something thats stopped me so far J

How well do you think my RV8 would respond to a pair of side exits, just in front of each rear wheel? I quite fancy the idea but I'm not sure wether there'd be too little backpressure or not.

The driver was another my friend who had 230 Cedric with L28 engine. Please note, we are unusual crazy car maniac in Japan...it's not common to own and drive such kind of car in Tokyo.. (This picture was shot from my ambulance )

Not very visible in this shot, but there's a Peco Big Bore 4 exiting at 45 degrees through the rear of the nearside sill on my 1430 Metro:
