Well this little sporty number arrived today for the imp, Clickety ClickThing is, it came with a random boss! The seller didnt know what boss it was and I don't have a clue! There are a few numbers on it (the boss), one is a patent number and the others are: "REG.DES.APP.NO 985548" "103 3S9" "A2159" Anyone got any ideas what it may be for? Or better still, know how I can get in contact with Astrali to find out? Google search unfortunately didn't come up with much! Cheers!

Cheers RatDat, they're the people I bought my new boss from (seperate from the steering wheel), but it seems they only list the mountney numbers! I'm assuming this is an Astralli boss as it looks like the original with the wheel, and I need to find the car to match the boss as opposed to the boss for the car! If that makes sense!!
Cheers anyway!

Ah, I see. I'm not sure any of those numbers on the boss will help you as all the old Astrali bosses I've seen have a part number beginning with "AW".

Well, I've just done a search on the patent number, which has given me the original inventors etc from 1979! Quite interesting, just not much of any use unfortunately!

my VW astrali wheels have been IDENTICAL to my Mountney ones... So a mountney boss for your car may allow fitment
