Vauxhall Omega 2.2 CD Auto
Year: 2000 X
Mileage: 87000
Tax: SORN
MOT: January 2013
Here we have my dad's Vauxhall Omega 2.2 CD. He's had it for a few years and it's served him well.
He's spent a fortune on things for it including a complete new exhaust, new battery, etc. The cambelt was done at 73k along with a top-end rebuild after the last one jumped some teeth.
It's got all the usual features - PAS, ABS, E/W, CD player, alloys...
Now, there is a slight catch: the check engine light is on, and when I plug the reader in it tells me it's the airflow meter (P0100). It's had a couple of airflow meters and now my dad has had enough and wants to sell it. I've put a new throttle body on, a new accelerator pedal sensor, as well as a new AFM. It could be that you bosh another AFM on it and it solves it. It could be that the wiring needs looking at... I don't know.
Here's a pic, I'll take some more tomorrow:
I've towed with it twice, and it's been great. That's the only two times the towbar's been used while my dad's had it.
So there you go. I've been as honest as I can about it - it's a nice looking car and has been great, but it does have the fault highlighted above.
SOLD
The car is in Nottingham, near J25 of the M1.
Please send me a PM if you're interested.
