Pro points:
Very versatile little wagon, you can cram a lot of stuff in it. It has three seats which is good if you have a friend like I don't. It's very cheap to run, it costs around £32 to fill the tank and I can get from Cardiff to nearly Norfolk on that. It's an eye turner and not just because my cousin and I drew lots of pictures all over it!
Suitable for camping if you just want to up and leave!
MOT requirements:
A small patch of welding on the nearside sill under the driver's door. The area is about 6" in length and 2" in height. The rear brakes aren't getting any fluid, possible blocked pipe so it has failed on the brake test (but it has new drums on the back) the windscreen washer jet is broken, I ordered a new one but it's an electrical fault. The rear seat needs a belt, or it needs to be taken out for the test. The headlights need aligning. I'm pretty sure that's it.
Negatives:
the passenger window does not open, the runners keep coming off the glass. We have mended it loads and it still doesnt work.
The rear offside passenger door doesnt open. I decommisoned it because it kept coming off the runner and the door handle snapped.
The rear sunroof leaks but I think I sussed it now
The boot is painted with gold hammerite (some people might like this) as are some other random parts of the van. It also has lots of felt pen drawings over it in strange places.
The alternator squeeks like a curse word for a while, the belt needs adjusting.
The tape player doesn't play tapes, it also doesn't fit in the dash board properly
I lost the V5 during my house move so you'd need to order another one.
Well I think that's everything, I've set a price to work around for all you budding barterers out there. I was going to put it back on the road because it is great fun but I have a family now and need a more suitable vehicle!
I'll get piccies up asap. You can PM me or call me on: 01656 862575
