1998 Volkswagen Passat SE 20V 1.8 with full functional LPG conversion. 90ltr Tank in the boot (still a surprising amount of boot space remaining). Very economical and practical car, I have converted my other car to LPG so I no longer need this car.
MOT June and tax runs out on the 30th of November, I have insurance running up until the 4th so I can tax for the buyer if needed.
The car has been nothing but reliable, the aircon works and I have some history to go with the car. the car has a Black Cloth interior with no rips or tears, the drives side protective mat is starting to wear a bit however. For its last MOT I had one rear caliper replaced, two new track rod ends and the head light lenses cleaned/polished. A couple of the tyres will probably need replacing and the suspension is starting to feel a little tired.
The car has two 6x9 on the rear parcel shelf and a Sony head unit. There are also two amps in the back and power leads to install a sub woofer. I have the standard front grill still as well as the debadged one currently fitted to the car.
It has a BRC LPG kit connected to a 90ltr tank, the tank will go for over 400 miles. I tend to fill up at around 360 which usually uses 60 liters of gas and costs about £45 at 0.749 a liter (Works out at about 13p a mile which is roughly the same as 50 mpg diesel). Fortunately it has quite a large tank so has a nice range, the tanks fill to 80% Capacity so a 90ltr tank will hold 72 ltr's of gas total however it is advised not to run them until they are empty. My other car has a smaller LPG tank so I am always at the pump as the range is around 150 miles.
Viewing is welcomed and if you have any questions about the car please do not hesitate to ask.
