Thinning out my fleet so up for sale is my VR5 Passat.
Owned it for a couple of years and it's been a 100% reliable daily driver. I've been all over the country in it, as well as a few last minute blasts to France, Belgium, Wales.....It' a big, lazy, comfy old barge and eats miles for breakfast. If you're sensible it'll push 40mpg too.
It's the 150bhp AGZ VR5 lump and 5 speed manual, at 145K it purrs like a kitten and pulls like a train. Mechanically it's all good, it's recently had discs and pads all round, fluids and filters and a few front suspension arms. Also had the bulkhead drains cleared and the ABS ECU replaced (common faults...)
Body is scratch and dent free, only small marks on the rear bumper and some stonechips on the bonnet.
Interior is half leather/ half alcantara in black, height adjustable seats, climate control, CD stacker in the boot and electric everything.
It has MOT till mid October and tax till the end of September.
Basically, you give me £600 (ish
) and you can drive it away.
Maybe up for a swap or p/x too.
