Year: 1983'
Model: Series 3 88"
Engine: 2.25 Diesel [5 Bearing Crank]
Price: £800 [With No MoT/Tax]
Hi all,
My Grandfather has recently purchased another Land Rover...
That brings the total number of Land Rovers that we both own up to 5.
Since neither of us drive them we just spend time getting them tidied up.
It's quite a straight example of a Series 3 88" with original paint and Engine
The chassis has had all the work done prior to purchase, Everything works as it should.
The Brakes aren't great due to lack of use.
It's basically a nice straight Example of an untouched Series 3 Diesel.
It has the 5 bearing crank engine, which pulls really well and a good strong gearbox. But Smokes.
The tyres are cracked from standing and the rims are awfully rusty but cheap to replace.
Just testing the water really, going to take it for an MoT once we get the brakes safe.
Ready to use, good starter with believed genuine 78,000 miles. Full New Exhaust.
It needs the Dash tidying up after the ignition was replaced. Also the Rear Diff Bearings have collapsed [New Diff needed]
Must be seen really.
Shame about the little areas of flaking paint but we are keeping it original.
I will keep updating, but it's a nice easy project for someone.
