righto guys - help me out here
I've got ryan's old k10 here - it's a late, K reg one with a factory catalytic convertor - and a rather buggered engine
I've also got hardcore's rather shagged k10 (the initial D rep) which is a J reg, non cat model
I'm intending to plop the standard J reg motor into the k reg one in order to get it back on the road while the hot motor is sorted out - but where do I stand with MOT's??
I seem to remember reading that the MOT would go on whatever is older - the engine or the car, but I'm getting a lot of conflicting information on this, and I don't want to go ahead and start swapping if it's going to be a pointless exercise
anybody had any experience of this??
