Not sure about the quickest drag car. But Fensports Corolla has 650+ BHP and runs 10's It has also run 200.4 MPH Best bit is it looks bog standard (ish) and its a 4 door.

I think John Tebenham has run at least 9`s in his Cossy powered Anglia and possibly quicker in his probe.
Yes that is the fuel cell at the front. That is one big turbo!!!
The loads on those front coil over mounts will be pretty high the way they are cantilevered out so much, an example of how to increase the loads at the weld and induce twisting into the actual tube. Very nice acrbon work, I hope is is not going to be painted.

The funny thing is minion, i am, its even under my skin and it itches like a mofo! John, i looked at those mounts and thought, hmmmmm not too good! Was Mr Tebenham's car also in a focus bodyshell? With a 2.2 BDTE engine? I think that was into the 7's before it went to the US, if so this alfa has got a lot to live up to. J

as blown said,he'll have to go some.JT has run 7's in his probe, and Wayne Saunders ran 7.7's in the Ford Focus...... in saying that the car looks real neat. It's also got potential if it makes good HP.Check out the sequential trans(possibly a Liberty 5 speed?)..... I also know there is a Cosworth engine that is looking for a 1000hp on methanol having it's exhaust and intake system fabricated at the moment.... Looks like there's a 4cyl war going on.... ;D

yay! I love small capacity and big power, they should try and get some tripeptane made up, that stuff is cracking on for 200 octane. It was forumlated toward the end of the war for the spitfire program, when using it they could apply more and more boost without detonation, the block would crack before it set in!
Ahhhh Wayne Saunders, thats the chappy with the focus, that is now in the US?
