Hi all, Some of you may know I own a 1965' Morris Minor named 'Bertie' which has a FWD Conversion and a Rover 100 Diesel Front End and 1500 engine... With it being Normally Aspirated the Car is quite slow off the mark... I was wondering if it was possible to Turbo it ? I have a few old engines I can rob parts off, 3.0 Isusu TD etc... Cheers Ben

Is the rover 100 D not a PSA engine? - XU DT engine parts may be useful?

It is a PSA engine, but the TUD rather than the XUD. I'm unsure if the TUD has ever been boosted.

Would IT Be possible to do so? I think the Morris Minor body is slightly heavier than the Metro/100 so it's not quick off the mark... Cheers guys!

Anything is possible, but no it's not really feasible.
The XUD conversion is becoming a bit more common place but still only 4/5 in the UK.
You could change the gearbox to aid acceleration, but short ratio gearbox command a premium.

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!
