hi guys,
i bought what was said to be a auto for an 2.8 cologne, its turned out to be a c3 for an essex engine.
are the bell housings interchangable? flex plate the same?

should be fine, as ford kept a lot the same to keep costs down,.

swap bellhouseing retain tc that came with box to avoid cross contamination.

theres more to life than mpg & to much power is just enough.
