The previous owner had been trying to shift this for 1200 before moving out of the country last week. This car belonged to his dad before it became his so he has known the history for donkeys years and the old man assured me the car has never wanted for nothing when I picked it up. I think this history and the cars previous good form had perhaps made the boy price it on the high side but I guess we may have all been guilty of that when needing to sell something we've owned and cherished.
The old man (custodian of the car once more) has gone of on his hols till Sunday and had the paper work at his house so exact details of the service history are hazy at the mo though from what I know by looking and have been told it's all been kept well and has been doted on by the same family for many years.
It's not perfect and does show the odd age related blemish here and there that you'd expect to see on a 20 year old car of 131k road miles. Nothing that detracts greatly from it mind, still sits pretty on those M tech 17 inch rims busting the genuine BMW spoiler out back with integral led brake light yo.
All belled up too, and thankfully it's a alarm that can be turned off under the bonnet with a key (I hate alarms)
Other signs of pimpage include clear winkers front and back with funky blue bulbs and those angel eye lights many BMW folk are so fond of.
Interior is in decent enough nick despite it's light color, leather bound steering wheel and Kenwood head unit make it a nice place to be (providing you've not chucked out your casette tapes or are happy listening to the radio ;D) Drivers seat has the usual wear and a rip on the base and the passenger side of the center console bit of the dash has some screw holes but nothings stinky or smokey.
Some Pics
I'll add more infos when I get the paper work and anything else as I remember but in the meantime just shout if I've missed anything you want to know or want to come and have a butchers.
