Right, selling my golf, I have a two cars, a pug 306 and this. Tried to sell pug on here, no takers, so trying this and i'll keep pug.
Some info:
2000 Golf Mk4, 1.6 Petrol. 5 Door. Tax till 31/08/12 & MOT till Feb 2013.
SE spec with remote locking (2 fobs), elec sunroof, 4x elec windows, heated elec mirrors, ABS, Power steering, Air Bags, Sony CD Player, upgraded Xenon/HID headlights and even cup holders!
I know the past two owners and the car pretty well.
142,000 miles, recent service, timing belt done last year at 136,000 miles. Engine great.
All new brakes last month costing £220.
Black interior which is very clean. Flame red bodywork in brilliant condition for year.
Alloy wheels and tyres have done less than 5000 miles and cost £700 in October 2011.
Has slightly lowered suspension but I have standard suspension if you want to re-fit it.
Mileage will go up as its still in daily use.
Only faults are a small scuff on front bumper and a chip in the paint on the top corner of the wing where it meets the A pillar. A touch in pen will fix this.
It needs a new section on the exhuast (£40 from euro car parts, or use some exhaust repair paste) as the mot garage last year fitted the wrong exhust part (from a Polo - receipt to prove).
The exhaust isnt loud/blowing enough to make it sound like a tank, it just makes a mad whistling noise when accelerating.
Really nice car with some previous receipts/history.
Only selling as I have a few vehicles sitting about and something has to go.
Can get more pics if needed.
Good car for money, I am a normal person that lives in the real world... so havent added any scene tax lol, I think a straight £700 is fair.
