the 411 i love the fact you never see them anymore, and for once i have something fairly rare i hate the fact its been a money pit, i probably shouldnt have bought it, and i probably should sell it
the bug i love it cos its a long time dream and will be superb when its done. i hate the fact its still talked about in terms of "will be" as opposed to "is"
if i can include my NC30 bike i love the fact its fairly unique, and there is NEVER an occassion when i ride it that i don't have a grin on my face i hate the fact that it isnt back on the road yet

mini, no bad points for me as I love them, but at the moment my ball joints are shot on the passenger side, exhaust blows a lil & have mods to do but need to raise the cash, but like the whole mini scene & club thing, alot can be done to a mini, still underated!!! rust is bad in cack ones, but are cheap to own & run still!!! my triumph 2500s I like cause its smooth, cheap parts really, rare-ish to see on the road, comfy as hell, has power steering, anti roll bars & overdrive, can be made very fast if you want to but engine work is pricey if you have to send it somewhere, don't like the old age knocks & rattles from the suspected uj's or diff, rust repairs, genural repairs cause al the nuts etc are a child born out of wedlock :OP a little thirsty on fuel but really good on a long journey! good club backup if a little bearded & flatcapped :OP oh yeah! & the looks you get & carpark cool of both cars, much nicer than modern car drivvle, they 'are' all the same!!!!! my honda cbr 400rr i love cause you cant that feeling with any other form of transport other than a bike, pretty rare small bike, very tunable, look good!i hate that english weather is'nt too good as i personally love dry weather riding, bring on global warming

The 156: Love the looks, handing and performance. Love the toys (aircon - yay!) and comfort. Hate the price of parts.

Chrysler Fifth Avenue....
Love...
Interior is the cushiest place on earth, like being in a blue womb.
My Dad rented one on a family holidayto Florida in the mid 80s, it still smells like childhood holidays in there.
Hate...
Bought one that needs more work than I would like in a "daily driver"
Crowded, complicated engine bay, too many unnecessary doo-dads, all soon to be reoved though...
Rear axle is weak and has no alternative ratios or heavy duty parts available.
Fuel ecconomy!
Buick...
Fantastic looking car. Some great details.
Drives fantastic - when its running right...
Does silly big burnouts easy as anything.
Hate...
Wish it was a 2 door...
currently developing intermittant annoying faults at an impressive rate...
Oldsmobile....
Love...
Looks. Just excellent looking beast.
Power... lots of it!
Hate....
"neglected" feeling, loads silly of stuff thats siezed, bodged or just doesn't work
Difficulty parking it anywhere.
too many doors...

Locost:
Love the fact everyone says 'thats going to be properly quick!'
Hate the fact they have to say 'going to be'
Polo:
Love... rarity (compared to coupe and hatch), tinker proof, very cheap parts, loads of tuning parts around, looks good, anything can be fixed with araldite and WD40!
Hate.. the choice! Should I lower it 30mm front and rear? or 40/40? 50/40? 60/40? 60/60? 80/60? 100/80? fully adjustable? golf brakes? G40 brakes? etc etc!

Audi 80 LoveThe fact that it's done 5500 miles in 3 months with no problems. It's reasonably quick. It's comfy. The heater is great. HateThe fact that I haven't looked after it for 24 years so it's a bit scruffy round the edges. The leak into the boot. The interior is quite sun damaged (faded seats, carpet etc) Mini LoveThe noise it makes "baaaaaaarrrrrrrrrpppppppp pop pop" The body is great on it for a 30 year old Mini, it's almost totally rot free having been rustproofed from new. HateNot having anywhere decent to work on it People moaning at me for not getting it finished.

The Monza love - Performance and handling now it's been fettled Hate - errr - with minimal interior if you drive it in the rain with the heater on you get wet!!! The SenatorLove - Driving it effortless ability to cover miles in total comfort Hate - The fact that I'm breaking it cos it's worth more in bits than as a complete car and it will probably be the last Senator I own The Carlton GLiLove - 37 mpg and big car comfort (and she doesn't know I own it - on loan) Hate - The fact it failed it's MOT and the "owner" didn't tell me now it's 20 miles away and got no MOT or TAX and needs welding!!! The Lotus CarltonLove - it's performance and rarity - I also like it's looks ;D Hate - Bit strong really but it's not a great drive TBH we'll see next year if I still don't like it it's going The CommodoreLove - Always wanted one Hate - lack of time and other projects mean it'll be a while before it gets started proper Non Retro The PoloLove - it's looks and cheeky performance and the fact it's going soon Hate - It's small and tedious to drive long distance (although it is comfortable) The Rice burnerLove - £100 purchase still had a bit of MOT and tax on it (like 3 days) Hate - Dunno yet Just a cheap project to turn a few quid round and put a bit back in the resto pot that I borrowed when I blew the Monza engine!!! Arriving soonLove - RWD and slush box drives like a Senny Hate - badge, but what else can you buy thats RWD apart from a Merc Thats why the olop and the senny are going

imp love the looks it gets and just driving it
hate having to kneel down to work on the engine i'm 6'1 with long legs and dodgy knees, the idiots who always make a point of coming to tell me 'i had one of these and it overheated' and then get take exception when i pointy out it was probably thier fault it did.
volvo T4 love the way it eats miles ,leaving me fresh after a 250mile run,the way it takes off like a scalded cat at 80mph when it comes on boost
hate the feeling if somehing goes wrong it will cost a bleedin fortune, the dent in the door when it lost out to a tree ;D

Toledo
love: how fun it is to drive and the burble that comes out of the exhaust. Also how comfortable it is for a smallish car.
Hate: It doesn't really like traveling over 65 and since i've had it i've had no extra money to do any modifications.
Micra:
love: that it costs almost nothing to run and is very reliable
hate: anything more than 30mins does my back in, the gearbox is knacked and its started drinking oil. Also it doesnt feal safe on the motorway.

Me golf: Love the smiles per miles factor, the fact its a proper standard campaign n not many mk1's are, chuckability, is fast n fairly economical, beasting chavs off the lights, its taught me lots about cars in little time, the props i get in her and that shes mine, always wanted one! Hate the fact its cost me a stupid amount of money meaning its not low , the tailgators it seems to attract! Polo: Love the fact i can go out and spray it/do what i want with it! the looks i get in her, tis pretty fun, has been stupidly reliable for a freebe. that it was just a car when i got her, now she's pat!, that loadsa people probably know me as "that nob in the matt black polo!" Hate the fact I'm probably never gonna do anything major on her due to the money pit of my mk1 gti its slow, scares the poo outta me in the tramlines on the motorway, looks like an offroader

BMW... love: The way it looks. The way it handles. hate: The redness of it. Fades to pink in a nansecond. Not -quite- fast enough. Currently the brakes are sh1t and it's pi$$ing fuel everywhere. And that I don't get enough time to drive / maintain it.
Skoda.... Love: That noise it makes. The sheer ludicrousness of it. Hate: The silly nose in the air stance. The rust. Again the lack of time.
Focus.... Love: 50++mpg, ability to swallow mountains of tat, comfiness. Hate: The fact that it sends me to sleep.

Charmant - Love the fact that barely anyone outside here knows what it is, at best they mistake it for a Datsun Bluebird or something. Love the mega plush beige interior, the brap brap brap of the old 4K engine, rear wheel drive, silly features like parking lights and door step lights. Mainly the way it is a car that truly suits me - seen as utterly redundant, mediocre and forgettable. But to me it's special! - Hate the slow oil leak, the cosmetic repairs I need to put right, the way the mirrors don't match, the way the tyres don't grip making pulling away from junctions in the damp utterly unpredictable. And no rev counter. But all of this will be put right!
Mira Classic - Love the condition I bought it in, the howl of the 3 cylinder engine, the way the turbo is louder than the engine until you really thrash it, the way it goes ka-PISH and makes dogs jump, the sleeper feel of it. Plus if I'm in a bad mood on a morning it always cheers me up! - Hate the way it suddenly shrinks on motorways and feels terrifying, gets really awful MPG if you drive at 70, gear changes have to be well-timed, turbo spools up and makes you jump when you're not paying attention, the blow-off valve blasts water off the bonnet and onto the windscreen if it's been raining, have to be really careful about warming up and running down to keep the turbo healthy. Also hate the way that I'm really overprotective about keeping it in the condition it is in to the point that I don't like leaving it anywhere!
Avanzato - Love the sleeper feel of it and the fact that there is a lot of super powerful parts available in Japan, the cheesy standard bucket seats, the way it has mirrors that fold in when the car is ridiculously narrow anyway. - Hate the way it needs some work doing on it and every single bolt on it is rusty and shears off, because sorting out sheared off bolts is my least favourite task ever.

Mondeo: Love the fact it just keeps going without complaint. When it needs a new part, it just drops subtle hints (clunking noises, wheel vibration etc) and keeps going. Coming up to 200k now. Hate the fact it's a green, p-reg, mk1 mondeo just like everyone elses. seriously, there's another one on the street that is identical, before i bought the alloys it even had the same (halfords) wheeltrims.
Fastback Love the fact it's different, noisy, odd, makes people mouth "what the fuuuuuu...." and i can fix it myself. Hate the fact it's at the start of a very long resto journey.

Volvo 480 Turbo
Love: Its fast, it got a turbo and all the sounds that come with it, its odd looking, cheap to buy and insure, it been a lot of fun, the looks it get when you come down the slip road onto the motorway well into 3 figures and go straight to the outside lane.
Hate: the electrics, it leaks, parts are expensive, the fact i have lost interest with it......... oh and it not bloody RWD!
