Are there any good classic car parts suppliers?
I'm looking around for a few little bits for the Sapporo (see other thread) but need to have a list of companies to hand anyway for future reference...
Anyone have any ideas?

Well, it won't help with the Sapporo parts, but I've found German, Swedish and French are pretty good ( www.gsfcarparts.com ), and also Euro Car Parts ( www.eurocarparts.com ) for parts for the Merc and me dads Volvo. I'm sure there must be a Japanese equivalent supplier like GSF or Euro? Good idea about the database! Parts for old cars are getting difficult to get hold of - the morons at the local Ford garage didn't even know what a Mk3 Escort was! I despair!

I know what you mean, at least the mk 3 Escort is at least 80s, try finding a garage who knows a thing about 70s Hillman Imps, let alone has bits for it!

I agree. some one on here should setup a retro suppliers DB page, either by type (J/Euro/American/Eastern Euro) or by manufacturer as a resource (time, jobs, family real life permitting o course).
