I designed a pair of extenders for the KYB shocks on my bug the other day, Then realised that they allready seem to make them.... But no idea who, Or where to get them....
The reason for the problem is.
I bought my bug realy slammed on a slamwerks beam, with dropped spindles and slam tyres.
Since then ive fitted 145sr15's and wound it up. But i found the LOWERED shocks to be a limiting factor to how high it would go.
So i disconnected the shocks and it sits fine.
NOW.
I Was going to fit the standard front shocks. But since it has a narrowed slamwerks beam, The shock towers are custom and need EYE type shocks rather than shaft type.
(like bug rears)
But if I'm going to be messing i may as well make the decent kyb's fit....
This is the sort of thing i need...
Literally to make the shock reach the mount at full drop...
Anyone got an idea?
Or where i can get some internally threaded hex to make my own??
