For my Peugeot van I used Leisure Vehicle Windows as they were the cheapest. www.leisurevehiclewindows.co.uk/Easy to fit the rubber type. I made a template out of brown paper a few mm larger than the window and attached that to the vehicle before cutting out with jigsaw. Paul H

I do this at work, I'd say bond ins if you can, much more chance of getting them water tight than clayton-wright rubber in type. Coventry Vehicle Windows seem to be one of the cheapest places for us.

Silly question, could you not chuck a slidy door in with the window already fitted? Saves chopping it about, and should guarantee a seal?

I used to work at a company which did van side window conversions, used to just cut out the panel and fit merc rubbers and window, very easy to do too, I don't know of any bonded side windows on a sprinter from the factory but I do lots of mini buses that have them but they sit on the outside of the panel ( about 5mm ) and imo look ugly and are prone to being damaged due to the way they sit on the panel, hence why I do lot's of them,( although it could be down to the drivers? ) go for rubber one's and paint the bare edge before you fit the window, the Met police have bonded and bolted one's but i don't think you will be able to get any of them unless you come across a decommissioned sprinter, they are also polycarbonate, if you are worried about security bond the rubber to the body and glass once the window is fitted but get the window security filmed before the window is fitted, make sure the film goes to the very edge as it will all be held in place if it is broken.
