Hello I am doing up a trailer and want some 13" or 12" wheels for it. Its currently on Mini wheels these I believe are 4" pcd, so what will fit that I can get cheap?

It will come in handy even if you never use it

look on ebay you should even get a cheap set of alloys, if its really cheap you want then get down the breakers. You don't say what sort of trailer if its a car transporter type of trailer be carefull as you will need the correct load bearing tyres, and if so id stick to the 12" wheels for ease of getting the car on the trailer. If its just a small trailer then it don't matter so much

I would avoid A series metro wheels, as most are metric tyres (the early metros are 12" though). They also have quite high offsets so they might rub on your trailer.
your cheapest option is prob 12" mini steels, there are usually some going either very cheap or even free on the mini forums. Other options (but are likely to be more expensive) are Imps, Vivas or MG midgets

Thanks Just after something cheap with tyres I can walk in to the scrappy and buy. The trailer is having a new axel so I can sort out the offset Its a 8x4ft general trailer for rubbish, I want it right as I will be selling it once its done a few trips to the car boot etc

Thanks Just after something cheap with tyres I can walk in to the scrappy and buy. Not likely to find anything in 4x4" at the scrapyard, TBH - it's not a pattern that's been used in a while. You probably won't find anything complete with decent tyres through the various owners clubs either - most of the Imp and Mini wheels I see have very old tyres, unless they are on a running car (so won't be sold). Unfortunately part-worn tyres in 12" diameter are very hard to find. Probably the cheapest/easiest option would be Midget Rostyles (which are 13") with tyres from your local part-worn dealers.

Same PCD as Vauxhals Chevette/Manta/Astra/cavalier/ Dave nope, they are 4x100 You'd need wobble bolts to safely fit those. Is it not possible to redrill your hubs to 4x100 or 4x108, the scrappy will be full of stuff you can use then

As Craig said, Chevette/astra/cav/manta and all the rest of the European Vauxhalls are 4x100. The Viva (and Victor etc IIRC?) is 4x4", but the wheels aren't hugely common. The cheapest and easiest to find 13" wheels in 4x4" are MG Midget Rostyles. Trust me - I looked. Having the hubs re-drilled to 4x100 might be possible, but I suspect that the money involved in doing so would pay for a fair few 13" part-worns.

The trailer is having a new axel so I can sort out the offset If you are fitting a new axle anyway why not use one with a more common wheel PCD ? Paul H
