Been asked by a work colleague to sell her car as she's just been seconded to our office in Aberdeen and there's a car up there for her to use.
It's a 2002/ 52 plate MG TF160* 135 Sprint in Trophy Blue. I don't know much about these but apparently it's the model to have - 160 135 bhp and leather plus bigger alloys (16's with 205/40 x 16 tyres) than the standard MG's apparently.
* edit - listed this based on what the girl who owns it told me - don't have the V5 as it's at the DVLA having the private plate take off but some of the service bills etc I've just looked at suggest this is an MG TF 135 Sprint, not a 160. 135 is obviously 25bhp less than the 160 model but both are 1.8 16v.
Didin't wany anyone to get the wrong idea about the car! - It still goes like stink though as it weighs hardly anything ;D
I drove it 50 miles home today and it's lovely. 95k miles but a good service history. It has had the head gasket done and repaired with the mod which Rover recommend. It's also had a new hood recently and has a very nice Bluetooth enabled stereo head unit (Sony MEX-BT2900 Bluetooth) which was a couple of hundred £ only a few months ago. It has an MOT until April 2013 and a few months tax (will check exactly how much tax when it stops raining!).
If goes like stink and handles really well. I'd be tempted to keep it myself but I already have too many cars and not enough parking spaces!
It has a personalised plate which is not included and is being taken off - should have the log book back from DVLA within a week with it's original number plate reallocated to it.
Can be viewed in Woking, Surrey.
She asked me to sell it for her ASAP as she moves to Scotland next week so she's only asking £1495.
Having looked on Pistonheads / Autotrader / eBay etc that seems a pretty cheap price - I haven't advertised it anywhere yet but will do if no one here is interested.
More photo's to follow...........
