I am trying to organise a 40 foot container for project cars and parts to come from Brisbane to the UK, if you need anything whether its new or used parts that are avaialble there, or maybe even a project car you've spotted not far from Brisbane, give me a shout! Likely to be August/September but I'm starting to collect freight over there this week. The container is costing £4000-5000 so factor in your share of this when estimating renting some space in it.

Bump. Any suggestions for cool things to look for in Aus that are plentiful there and rare here? Did wonder about feasibility of early Escort bits and bobs or something. Certainly I will bring some rubbers and stuff over for different cars from a place there called Phil's Rotarys and Fast Fours, so if you need something from there it would be quite simple to add it.

How are you getting on with the logistics of it - have you got someone there to strip stuff of and pack the container - it might be worth ringing the wreckers close by to see if they have any Datsun's as drive cars too if ebay etc isn't yielding sufficient. Queenslands RWC is one of the tougher ones in Aus so there should be plenty of stuff about. EDIT - just remembered there have been a few panel damaged Verte's (falcon) utes on ebay, front end parts might sell quite well over here, or do a cheap repair if you can pick one up. |

tell door glass bloke to find the glass and ship it to the container.
YEs i should try some scrap yards, Yes I have found someone to strip, stack, load container. Fingers crossed that he will be on the ball.
