suddenly my rover 25 wont start . went to the shops in it after work locked it up . came back out to go home car wont start . theres power there the immobilisers working as it should every thing else works it just wont turn over . any ideas any one

its a manuel , starters not kicking in , everything else is working powering up like it should

Do you hear a clicking or anything like that? I know some Rovers need you to de-immobilise the car a la various CAT 1 alarms like Clifford and Cobra before you move off which is done with the fob, but I would rule that out if you drive the car often .

don't think its the immobilizer. as it working as it should going to pick it up in a bit with a mechanic from were i work . see if we can shed any more light on it .

thanks everyone . sorted now a wire from the solenoid is corroded . try and fix it tomorrow

it was, cleaned the terminal up . put a new connector on the wire All is good now
