2000 Subaru Legacy Estate. Very high spec: leather interior, climate control, low ratio, manual transmission, premium sound system, good tyres, no oil leaks, load tonneau, twin sunroof, cruise control, leccy everything - all works, heated seats, OMG IMPREZA ALLOYZ, front spoiler, fogs etc etc
Here is a shocking photo of the car - I will get some better ones up once I have removed the 'child transportation flotsam' from the car.
It has 160k on the clock but has only done 100k on this engine - it was a 2.5 Quad Cam on the back but the refitted engine is a twin cam 2.0l which is good because a, it is still quick when you boot it and b, it drinks a LOT less gas than the 2.5 and is a lot easier to maintain. Engine is in good nick, had a timing belt about 20k ago (we've done about 4k in this car since November.
MOT till November (might be late October), Taxed till the end of June.
History: bought from new by a farmer and looks like it - car has dozens of scrapes, - underside has rust here and there but quite solid - farmer was a dairy farmer - cow pee corrosive from the yaaaaarrd. Then bought by a born again Christian who runs a pub outside Stirling - good because its a terrible sin to trash your car or to poorly maintain it so it is a danger to others - in his ownership the previous engine blew up so he had a smaller one fitted.
Running gear: in decent condition - no unpleasant knocks, I fitted 2 brand new front springs in January, brakes might need doing for MOT, needs a new offside CV joint/boot - easiest to replace whole driveshaft - about £20-50 on ebay. Health wise this job is a bit beyond me at the moment - I lack the strength to tackle suspension and steering bolts. The car could use a service, I have new power steering and fan belts which will be supplied with the car.
£550ono
we need a bigger car - dog is too large so I have foolishly bought a Ford Explorer.
This Scoob is a very reliable, quick, toy filled, very well used but tough 4x4 at a banger price.
