i bought myself an MR2 and i want to lower it on some new wheels with a nice stance, I'm after some general advice really first off the new wheels are rota d1 in silver and gold they measure 17"x 7.5 front and 17"x 8.5 rear, the offset is ET30 so they are exactly 1mm short of flush which i think will look awesome when finished, the main info I'm after is firstly sizes of tyres to pull it off without too much of a stretch and secondly will they go on with a minor arch roll/trim or will the arches need pulling a bit ?
I'm planning on using someone well known like arch enemy for the bodywork mods, i know i may sacrifice some of the daily comfort and the handling these cars are famous for but its not going to be a track weapon its a nice daily cruiser, the car will dropped with a set of apex springs they are advertised as offering between a 30mm and 35mm drop any suggestions advice is very welcome.
cheers steve
