Puts me to shame - you are going to have started and finished a Mini, Built an SD1 drift car - finished this one and probably moved onto something else by the time I finish the mini I've been doing for 4 years then I've got a Monzadore to do, a Rally Car and an LC to finish......... talk about depressed.........

I never get bored of watching that Liver Run film. Wish it was my car in it! Yeah i need either a single blue round light, or a small simple light bar. These photos are of the sister cars to mine. Same Lancashire livery and they would probably also been motorway cars. Mine is registered D822GEC and these two are D828GEC and D825GEC. Bstardchild - ive been lucky and been able to spend some time on cars the last year or so. I doubt ill ever be as productive as this again. I really want to finish all the welding, then i can get it painted, then the reassembly can be done over a long time and enjoyed. I did a tiny bit more this morning. Just finished preparing that panel and trial fitted it. Needs some further fettling before i tack it in, but don't have time today. Its important i get it right, as the rad wont fit and sit properly!

If you have a look on the for sale section someone was selling a single kojak light no too long ago

I presume you know that Rimmers do virtually all the panels for a SD1 if you are desperate?

I would be rich if i had not spent so much money on Cars and fast women...oh, i did waste some of it as well!

Couldnt find the blue light in the forsale section.
Yes rimmers have lots of parts, but not all. I might have to put an order in for the front underbelly panel, so i can get the front corners aligned

Thanks. I cant wait to get the wing welded on. It'll feel like a big step, as its almost 1 corner complete! I was going to do it this evening, but it still stinks of paint fumes in the garage. Ive been thinking of painting Waxoyl onto the inner wing before welding the wing on, but ive decided against this for lots of reasons, plus i managed to accidentally buy black waxoyl not the clear. Woops. The other benefit of putting the panels on is theres less to trip over in the garage. The rear quarters are massive and ive got a few dents in my ankle where i keep walking into them.
