got great patina bit i fear it'll get worse quite quickly the more it's used. can't be easy to keep clean as it is. i suspect the wheels are another set and the original wheels still have the original tyres on. must be a bit of a dilema for the owner on how far to go with it. mine is documented as having some hillclimb history in the 70's but nothing has been found yet. the 1990 valuation i got with my car says about all the race stuff being removed and put back as a road car. i have found the holes where the roll cage used to be when cleaning out the underseal/sound deadening from the inside. i am running a small competition for someone to win a polished S800 piston (to use as a natty paperweight?) as well as a couple of other items of interest. the S800 piston has "S800" cast into it  competition here if anyone want to take part |

Easier in California than most places, tbh  And yes it does need black (and nicely-worn) wheels slignig back on. I'm a bit puzzled by what looks like drips of paint stripper down the door, though. Has this been fake-patina'd? |
