blanking plate on OEM dumpvalve
Boost Gauge fitted into clock socket
manual boost controller
Bailey Dump Valve and fitting kit
retro fitted full grey leather interior from a Sterling
Body pretty sound
Replaced gear linkage UJ bushes
New leather gear knob and skirt
Bad points
usual squeaks and rattles from a Rover 800
Some rust - not too bad - no idea if any of it would fail MOT
paintwork is shocking - car was in BRG, previous owner added rear and front wings and doors from a blue car (dark Blue) and then sprayed the BRG the same colour -an OK ish job for cans but missing laqcuer - worst bit is the bonnet. The hatch door is still in BRG and has some small rusting
Lunched a turbo last week, I replaced it with a 2nd hand one but one of the turbo to manifold bolts is now bent - I have just got a new retro car and am loath to spend any more time on the car.
I'll get the turbo manifold bolts back on but may be blowing a bit.
I've owned this car for about 6 months - brilliant handling, very comfortable and fast
Time to move her on - price reflects scrap value, 2nd hand dump valve assembly and remaining tax.
I need to get rid of this in the next couple of weeks.
