Orate dave. Had a trial fit earlier with the rims and I was surprised that they actually fit. Will be requiring advice on tyres etc. just sorting some pictures to upload.  |

   I'm going to need some wheel nuts as the original taper on the nut doesn't seem to fit right into the taper on the compomotive   The internal measurement for the center bore seems to be the same as the original and by feel alone they fit better than the original rims. I'll bring my Verniers home to get a proper measurement though. The next step is getting tyres, I've been looking into stretched tyres as well which would give me a little extra space. The rims are 5.5" wide with a 14" diameter.Any recommendations on tyres sizes? I may need to space the rears out slightly so would like to fit longer studs. But we'll see. Quite happy though so far. My arch extensions are on their way as well. |

I don't think you'll find anything really narrow enough to be stretched on 5.5" rims other than puskbike tyres! I'd probably go with 165/55s or something, they'll sit about square.

Yeah been looking at 165/55 and also 165/50, I'll get some old tyres and fit them onto the rims. Dave are you still living at brecks? Any recommendations on wobble nuts? |
