just thought i'd let some of my past cars speak for me. 2.8i and again, next to the 2.0 laser rare 1600L, garage find, came free, needed juice and a tiny patch weldin on for the mot, then went drifting the ONLY one of my friends i'd let sit on my car bonnet! found out too late that 2.8i ghia S's were very rare. came standard with LSD and 4 speed manual box, would hit 80mph in second gear and tow a vauxhall carlton at 110mph (probably) 2.8 and side exit exhausts, stealth car, 130mph form a battered cortina really suprises people. loony tune pinto in this one, bored out to 2.2, made 160bhp and broke down all the time. another one with a 2.8 dropped into it under construction 2litre pinto powered ex rally car, NO creature comforts but sooo much fun to drive the fantabulous 1600 mk1, satin black paint and aerosol flames to upset the concours guys at car shows. the little mk1 went ok too now THIS used to frighten people when you came drifting sideways around a set of traffic lights. so there you have it, thats just the few i have pics of on the pc, now i feel you all know me and we can get on as buddies.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

phew blimey! well i don't own any of these any more, my car turnover is pretty high, get bored quick. lol luckily i live in essex almost next door to a good mate with a farm, so lotsa room for stuff. Is it just the pic, or is this one chopped? nope sorry, one of the differences no one notices between a mk4 and 5 cortina is that the windows go further into the roof on the mk5, the mk4 looks way meaner in my opinion, but they are a rusty bunch, i'd give my right arm for a minty mk4 to do over! Would that be a certain long haired bearded Popuptoaster from Essex ;D Welcome aboard fella, you`ll fit right in here ;D hullo mate, i find me way onto all the good forums. I thought some of those looked familiar. Did the blue cortina have granada front hubs by any chance? nope, not when i owned it at least, it went to guy from surrey i think on ebay a few years back. FAN-FAK-IN Tabulous !!!!!! Nice friend.... need anywhere else to sit ?? Guess could be, is someones daughter, wife sister..... ;looks good though. a friend of mine runs a studio, i used to work up there to help out when she first started it so i have some very nice looking mates. thats Petra Morgan, she's a sweetheart, teeny tiny person she is, rides big bikes as well. lol
