Time has come to move on my 9000 CSE 2.3 FPT.
Its a 1997 in Amethyst Metalic Purple/Black with Cream Leather.
It has about 140k on it (Ill update with the exact mileage) and has a FSH all Saab or Specalist.
Overall the car is in great condition for its age with no visible rust. The leather has no rips or burns and is also in great condtion.
All electrics work bar one of the heated seats (never got round to checking if its something simple).
It starts on the button everytime and has been 100% reliable bar a fuel pump failure which was immediately replaced.
It passed its MOT about 4 months ago (again I will update with exact) with just a bush and a bulb.
The only known fault is a blowing pipe by the turbo which the garage smothered some paste over, but did not last long and is blowing again.
It does not affect the drive, just a bit noiser than usual but I guess if it was resolved you would get more power.
I bought it as a stop gap inbetween cars but it has been so relaible and such a comfy torquey car I have hung on to it. But I have 5 other cars and plan to use my MX5 over the summer so its going to sit and is not really needed.
Asking £595. I'm in Bideford North Devon so check it on a map before commiting as its a long way from almost everywhere lol!
A transporter pick up from up country to me normally costs £150.
But I am 100% confident the car will make as long a journey as you like and am happy to pick people up from Barnstaple station which is the nearest.
It would be nice for it to go to a Saab guy/girl
