This is my new car, a 1.4 16valve Vauxhall Tigra 'Bermuda' edition in a metallic green (don't know the paint code/colour yet). It has no tax, MoT or service history, and it's not perfect, but it is exactly what I want as a small family car. I can get me, the missus and baby in the car, so that'll do.
It has an engine.
NOM
There's a few blemishes on the car that in general look worse than they are, including this scuff on the bumper.
A few rust blemishes which aren't crusty, it's just where the paint has lifted really. Easy enough to treat and no holes.
I'll get the bumper off to deal with this.
This is worse looking than it is, mostly staining.
Another little scuff.
Arches are still quite solid, I'll get these rust treated and painted as quick as I can after the MoT.
This sill is the worst bit of the car, it may need a small patch, and it may not. We'll have a good poke to find out.
Couple of repairs required on the bottom of the wings, again not too serious. Gaffer tape for the MoT methinks.
Another spot that looks worse than it is, mostly staining.
Few blemishes around the windscreen, but I'll probably be replacing the windscreen anyway so I'll sort these out properly then. No rust or anything on the sunroof, happily.
Need a new rear wiper blade so it doesn't damage the rear screen.
Interior needs a good scrub, but is otherwise okay. Still has the factory gear lever lock which still works.
There's a face in the back. Once you see it you can't unsee it.
Then we gave it a wash. Car came up a different colour and a lot of the bad bits looked a lot better when we'd done.
Oops, I got into this picture.
Everybody loves the Tigra.
Plans? Restoration really, I'm not interested in lowering or much else because the car is spot on the way it is. Very well behaved in the corners, doesn't need lowering, and is mental fast for a 1.4. It's like driving a Metro GTi, but better, and I love Metros.
So go on, how much did I pay? Whoever guesses nearest wins two and a half internets to spend at participating stores.
