whats your views guys just put 20mm on either side back of my B3 passat (standard steelies but on choppies!) and just wonering if nuns of kittens could be killed in the process of running em?
Got about 200 miles to do this weekend and want no hassle!

If the surface area of the spacer is bigger than that of the wheel mounting face (to ensure enough friction to stop the wheel moving), and the nuts are tapered (to centre them), and you tightened gradually and diagonally (to centre them), and the studs are all one peice (not the horrible Cosmic/Grasyston extended type), and the nuts have enough thread in them, I can't see an issue.

Kittens won't be killed but if they are universal jobbies that offer zero location may induce some not so pleasant vibrations. It could also put quite a bit of undue stress on the wheel bearings but to be honest if you are not doing mega miles you should be fine .

i had some on my capri, 20mm same as you want, non hubcentric but also none universal, so they can center up properly did well over 3k miles with em never had a problem
