Hi, after a lot of thought I'm selling my 214.
Following redundancy and a period of temp jobs Ive finally managed to get a full time job close to home not been an easy ride but a lot of us have been there... Anyway Ive been holding onto the 214 for a while in case I needed the car for work, but this new job comes with a heavily discounted bus pass and the Insurance, MOT, Tax all run out in June 2012 so...
214 Sei 64,000 miles
5 door
Alloys, EW, ESR, Service History, No rust, Good tyres
Recent front brake discs and pads
Recent uprated headgasket, waterpump, cambelt, tensioners, etc etc Done as a precausion in Feb this year, car runs very well indeed!
Everything works and I would say it is a good example.
New spark plus and HT leads (2012)
Good registration with '214' being the numbers in the reg!
Bad points
MOT runs out on 19th June 2012.
Tax runs out end of June 2012
I have not put the car in for an MOT simply because I cant justify the MOT cost - I'm not aware of any failure points, the car runs fine, has good brakes, good tyres, etc etc but with any 18 year old car there may be faults. Since starting my new job finding the time and a spare £50 for an MOT test is hard work these days.
If it dosent sell I will MOT it when I'm ready and sell with a ticket.
Looking for £300 for the car as its such a good example. Is this a reasonable price?
Garstang, Lancashire.
