	Hi all, I have been told that the valve clearances on my engine are to be set to 0.02" inlet and 0.022" exhaust. These numbers don't seem right as that is 0.5mm in metric. As standard they are supposed to be .2mm and .2mm. This engine has a lumpy cam, but that does seem like a helluva differenec in clearances!!! Any thoughts?? Lewis

	Ah yes... It is a 136 Skoda sport engine from a Rapid and it has a high lift cam fitted. I asked the same question on a Skoda forum, and one 'answer' was 0.45mm hot! So if that is correct, .5mm when cold seems ok? 0.45mm hot sounds like a hell of big clearance, but I know nothing about valve clearances!
