Here`s a cheap run around for someone. I`ve just picked this up literally 30 minutes ago, and driven it for 10 miles. Drives great, started first time after being in a garage for months. It`s MOT until the end of August, but has only covered 130 miles since the last test, so there`ll be no issues in it getting another ticket.
Suprisingly solid for an Astra. No major rust at all, and even the rear arches are solid. There are numerous small surface rust patches, but these are small and only light surface rust. I`ve taken photos to show these too.
Interior is clean and tidy. Electric windows both work and it`s fitted with a JVC CD player.
Tyres are all very good, with a minimum of 5 mm tread although there is one wheel trim missing.
I have a folder full of service receipts here too. It`s got every old MOT apart from 2, a service book with a few stamps and what looks like every service receipt from new..
All in all, a great cheap car. Price is £300 as it is, or I can put a full test on it for £400.
