Just picked up some poorly listed wellers off ebay (thanks to markbognor and micrat for their help) anyway the ebay advert said they were 4x4" PCD and mini fitment. However now I've actually got the wheels the face has 4100 stamped on them. Does this mean they are 4x100mm and not 4x4" (4x101.6mm)?  |

seems a logical assumption to me. weller wheels were often fitted to rally spec'd micras, any ideas on the offsets? That would probably give a good idea as to which they are as the mini fitment normally have really low offset

Get the tape measure out? Should be able to see a 1.6mm difference by eye easily enough even with the shonkiest of tapes  |

i'm not so sure you would. you are afterall guessing where the centre of the hole is and the centre point of each hole will only be 0.8mm different between the two stud patterns

i'm not so sure you would. you are afterall guessing where the centre of the hole is and the centre point of each hole will only be 0.8mm different between the two stud patterns measure edge to edge, the measurement will be the same for 4 stud, and it gives you a definate point to measure to. but yep, afaik i believe those markings mean 4x100 et0. |

They do look to be very low offset the mounting face is to the eye anyway, in the centre of the wheel. So et0 would make sense.
I've got one of Mr.Bognor's excellent easy pcd tools in the Chevette, so hopefully that should give an answer. I can't get a vernier caliper inside the wheel and I can't find the tape measure at work lol! And yes HC if they are indeed 4x100 this should make them even more of a bargain.

Right got to work and got the Easy PCD from the car....  Bit hard to see with the curse word iPhone photo, but the hole in the tool was dead in the centre of the wheel hole. So that along with the 4100 stamping on the wheels I'm happy it's conclusive they are 4x100. The end. Plus the with 3 nuts done up the 4 stud is central, photo evidence   |

I love seeing easy PCDs being used.
But I'm really cheesed off that I didn't risk the serious trouble I'd be in and buy those wheels.

Sorry Mark, I kinda feel bad as they would have been perfect on the Micra if I ever come to sell them I'll let you have first refusal (with an obvious finders fee discount). I'm so happy with the wheels really starting to feel like it's my car now  |
