Just as I decide to keep this pretty much permanently, life throws you a curve ball and I may well be going back to Uni yet again, so I'm gonna need a decent work hack as my Range Rover is just to expensive to do a 100 mile a day commute but I need to keep it for towing.. this is in the swaps section but it's for sale as well! It's great fun with a noise to die for.. 1996/7 9 Months MOT 5 months tax electric hood heated leather seats manual uprated engine 325i inlet with custom M52 bored out throttle body genuine Simota carbon intake Recent bilstien sport shocks all round with eibach springs uprated front arms with M3 rear bushes wood dash pack duel climate ice cold air con check control LOADS of main dealer history including a new engine 80k ago at BMW main dealer HID front lights 180k (but new engine) Remapped to 230bhp easy 30mpg on a fast run (90+) amazing on fuel for such a quick car much more if you're a dawdler, cruises happily at daft speeds, possible to run it right off the standard clocks, (on private track of course) Just had new brakes all round new CPS new hoses recent full service with top quality oils and antifreeze. Sounds awesome (really) and goes like hell. don't want to sell it, but it's either this or the Camaro, and I might even throw that in for the right deal! No rust No bubbles No bad paint, a day with the clay bar and the polish and it'd look awesome.. Will have a new battery when sold as current one is weak after a week but still working fine. Great rwd fun for all the familly Swaps I'm interested in: (manuals unless really special and no saloons!) sensible suggestions BMW e36 compact or estate TDS or 1.8 16v BMW e39 530d estate VW Golf mk4 Tdi estate or hatch B5 Passat TDI E300 CDI or TD Mercedes estate Mondeo TDCi estate or hatch Focus Tdci (mk1 preferred) Audi A3 A4 or A6 may consider decent spec 80 or 100 TDi only Cash either way no problem at all...

These are fantastic, I had one a couple of years back, oodles of torque, straight 6 growl and no matter how hard i spanked mine I couldn't get it below 25mpg! and if you were on a runway or similar you can double the motorway speed limit without any drama

Always fancied a decent MX5 yup could be interested, though i've just found out that i don't have to commute into the centre of twn like i expected to so i was thinking i'd be ok to stick with the bimmer as on the open road the mpg is great, but still yeah definatley interested!

The mx5 can end up in the 20s on short runs in town. The only thing is I value my car a bit higher than yours, if yours had the msport kit on it and a few other bits I'd be up for a straight swap.

Best of PM'ing me with your idea of where you'd want to be on a deal and we can take it from there, i'm cool with a bit of cash your way depending on how things are with the MX and the rest of the deal!

Up you go, would like to release the cash tied up in it and get the Camaro finished, now sorted for new daily so no swaps unless it's something very yummy..
It's on ebay now but as always preferential treatment for an RR'er

Just put new centre caps on the wheels since photos were taken, it's also had some good part worns put on the back as they were getting a smidge low, retaxed it so now has just over 5 months on it..
Bought some Renovo hood cleaner dye and sealer and will be doing this before sale so the slight fading that you can see in the photos should be sorted and it's be fully water proofed for winter (doesnt leak at all but belt and braces and all that!)
Come on peeps, where else will you get a taxed and tested rwd 150mph 230bhp luxury german convertible with absolutely no mechanical issues uprated suspension and a huge folder full of receipts for this money...
