	I have a 99 Passat B5 1.9 Tdi It is a fantanstic car and does all i need in life including pulling massive loads with the trailer and beeing mega ecconmical. I have this weekend started working on a project that will be on for sometime that means everyday i have to go up a very rutted track with the passat and some times the trailer on. I have been up a few times this weekend just in the car and the undertray and front bumper catches etc. This is the lane to get a idea. What i am planing on doing is to lift the passat on the suspension and tyres . I have thtyres aready which lift it by 1 inch but looking to lift the suspension 1 inch. Any help or ideas on this would be a great help. Cheers

	The track doesn't look that bad to be honest can you not just run the wheels over the highest part in the centre to gain some extra ground clearance - if its just in a few places i'de be tempted to repair the lane rather than mess massively with the vehicle. I greenlaned (easy lanes through boredom mainly) in a chevette estate a few times and with carefull driving didn't manage to belly that out.

	You can buy 'spring assisters' they are rubber donuts which fit between the coils on the spring. They don't raise the suspension but they reduce the spring travel so the car wont dip as much. Cheap and easy to fit so may be worth a try.. www.springassisters.co.uk/
