Chaps
Whilst at stand still and engine running - there is no clutch vibration.
Whilst at stand still and clutch pushed all the way down - there is no clutch vibration.
Whilst at stand still and I touch gently on the clutch - I feel and hear a vibration.
Whilst driving around I hear no vibration.
Inbetween all gears (less so 5th/6th perhaps due to road noise)
I feel and hear vibration at the qtr pressed in.
The is no clutch slip nor any feeling of problem whilst driving.
Its JUST a vibration. But it wasnt there there when I bought the car. And the vibration is getting stronger/louder the more miles I do.. So I assume something will eventually go bang?
So...
No vibration whilst sitting stationary assumes the gearbox is OK also assuming slave bearing OK?
No vibration whilst fully pushed down/no slipping/smell means clutch is Ok?
Leaving the flywheel could be worn and requires replacing?
I'm assuming if I was to replace the flywheel - good order would to also replace the clutch/bearing anyway?
Or (my preferred hope) is a gearbox oil change?
Cheers for any advice given.
