As above?
Trying to re grease the rear wheel bearings but can't get the hub off!
I've got the caliper and disk off, undone the 13mm bolt in the centre of the hub and removed the. Bolt, big washer and long spacer but can't get the hub off?!? I can see the drive shaft splints in the centre but the hub won't move :/
Anyone advise? I don't have a HBOL but one would be handy right now.
Cheers

Hi! You see those 4 cutouts? That's a nut you need to undo to remove the hub (it's on the rear resp. differential side of the hub)... You need a special socket to remove that nut... And there's a crush-washer inside that needs renewing and the bearing play needs to be dialed in again with a new crushwasher (crushwascher needs replacing after undoing the nut!). The 13mm bolt only holds the drive shaft in the hub... Driveshaft needs to come off anyway. Removal of driveshaft on the diffrential works like on a live axle (cover off, pull clip, pull shaft).

Arseburgers!
So you need a special tool and need to replace the crush washers.
Cheers DW, I'd better get on the lookout for one of those special doodads. Or get use to the bearings squealing like a piggy!
