Just a feeler this, I'm thinking of selling my amazing 1.6 K series engined Rapid. See the thread here retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=readersrides&thread=74073&page=1I'm not desperate to sell, it just has reached its ultimate status for me, and I get more enjoyment from building and working on cars than having them sat there. I've done 4k miles since the installation, with no problems apart from a water hose popping off. Mileage is 43k with all old mot's. Its powered by a 1.6 K Series engine, on 33mm bike carbs and megajolt ignition. Dyno'd at 121 bhp prior to having the carbs set up. Starts, runs and drives fantastic. The paint is a bit thin and flat, and a respray would make it amazing. It runs on 15" Empi wheels I bought new a couple of years ago. I have a few spares, and it will be sold with 12 months mot and 6 months tax. Like I say, I'm not desperate to sell, and I'm thinking around £1500 ono. What do you think?   |

Yes, the car is in daily use, but only taxed until the end of the month and mot'd until August.
No worries about it going through again.
Not really up for swaps, but try me. I do fancy and alfa 75 though....

It came from a Skoda dealer in Norfolk (Cranes), and the the 2nd owner was a lady from Chelmsford. Next up a guy in Wells-next-the-Sea, and then me!
