Datcherry, c'mon, play by the rules! spot them again during the week and those photos will count, and for major mojo too! but it would be unfair to give you points outside the timeframe :( much as i'd like to!
Fair enough! rules are rules.....but I couldn't resist posting them!
I doubt whether the Renault will be driving much anyway as it seemed to be in the middle of a resto. I watched the Hindustan being started up - took the guy at least 5 minutes, with liberal amounts of damp start.

Oh did I laugh! ;D

Quick wander around town today revealed the usual late 80's bilge suspects for a handful of points. Looks like I'll get a bonus point for a line dancing 'gay-van' (as so beloved by Mr_Bo11ox), but best of all was a new one to me around here, a tidy '67-ish Jag S-Type sitting on replica D-Type wheels with tinted glass!! Gonna save everything up until the end of the week, hoping for a few surprise ones too as I'm out on site for the next couple of days and there's bound to be something we'll see en route.

I'm getting the feeling that my attempts are gonna be way off the mark, must up my efforts, lots of 1 pointers for the win Mmmm same here - every journey now turns into a hunt - peering down every side street for that elusive old clunker to take a picture of ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Thing is where do you draw the line? It seems pointless documenting all the eighties Mk2 Golfs/Polos & Nissan Micras, Minis & Bay Campers etc that I seem to see alot of on a daily basis, yet seeing a Mk2 Cavalier seems a notable spot ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) I get the feeling that you win this R-R title by filling your memory card full of borderline retro - Seat Marbellas, Mk4 Escorts & the like.

Mmmm same here - every journey now turns into a hunt - peering down every side street for that elusive old clunker to take a picture of ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) You've described my driving style perfectly! My usual criteria is simply is it interesting? Will other people be interested in seeing it, or will it be something I regretted taking a picture of in years to come? Sometimes the setting or context makes it more worthwhile. Anything on flat tyres, covered in mould or surrounded by long grass is worth considering IMO. Not much 90’s stuff meets this test – on my lunchtime wander I dismissed a Micra, Rover 200 series, Favorit and others of that ilk. I’ve just been taking snaps of what I’d usually chuck into my weekly-ish autoshite thread. Maybe there should be a weighting system on 1-pointers? Only allowed so many per higher value spot? Nah, too complicated. Let's just use it as an excuse to take some good pictures! A worthy spot doesn't need points to be interesting.

While out on the road earlier trying to hunt down a battery for the Herald I saw this going the other way on the high street. Obviously I couldn't take a photo of it while driving so here's a "seth library image" which I guess dismisses my chances ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ![](http://usera.imagecave.com/sethke/Carshows/Aceclassics090602.JPG)

seth, if it was that you saw for definite then its in, well done ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) i have a 1pt in a merc 190e i think. although I'm taking on board the borderliner point... i guess it must be an 80s design, i've passed up old rovers, favorit, even a 80s micra/pony, cuz if its just shat it isnt interesting. if you feel its worthy post it, if its not i will consult my crack team of retrogurus and we will decide ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

OMG is that a Maserati Merak!!!?!?!?!?! You're just not supposed to see cars like that on the road! It was heading down the A1M, it took me a while to catch it but luckly the traffic lights at the M25 caught it for me ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Todays spots, London and Reading seems to have a bit of a stash ![](http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c56/Speedman29/retro%20spotted/retro157.jpg) Dude, this bad boy's in Lutterworth isn't it? Sure you weren't on the M1? On my list of must buy tat around this fair land of ours... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Oh, not trying to claim points for spotting somebody elses spotted. Considering that's nearly 200 miles from my house, I've clearly marked myself out as being scarily anal about spotting already... ;D
