This is just opposite the Macdonalds on College Road/A34 is it not? My brother used to own that Red Cav, Reg no is E??? ROK think he sold it for £150 years ago, TBH I thought it would have been scrapped by now but it's been there for ages! You must live very local to me Minidan! That white Jetta pic is just near the Yenton You should come along to this months Midlands R-R meet if we manage to decide when and where it's going to be ;D It is indeed ;D I live just down the road from the Cav near Bargain Booze Me and my brother popped into Domino's for a cheeky pizza and spotted the Polo and Jetta outside. I know theres a few retro cars in the area, but I had to get going... Couldnt let my pizza go cold I would definatly come along to a meet, just let me know

Panda Matt.... Your Sunbeam is a Talbot Horizon. And the Sooki Jeep is either an SJ410 or 413. And the 'Van' shed thing is a Citroen H-van. Sorry for my pedantry. Señor Pog, no need to apologise at all - the Talbot error is inexcusable on my part, the Suzuki just looked odd to me - couldn't place it, and I did know it was a Citroen H-van, honest - but it is now much more of a shed. S-Skoda this link will tell you a bit about the S-Cargo if interested. The H-van was originally a 40's design IIRC, but I'm fairly sure this particular example is a 60's one

Wooot - I win!!! ;D Actually i'm not sure if this is a good thing or not I'm now completely obsessed with spotting old & weird cars - its affecting my day-to-day driving, I now take longer to get anywhere - cos i'm driving down all the little back streets instead of taking the direct route on the main road, and my driving has become increasingly irratic as i'm concentrating on hunting old the automotive gems rather than on my driving! Maybe I should attend the CGA (Car Geeks Anonomous) Good game though - & it was great looking at everyone elses pictures/reading your humourous captions Will have to do it again sometime, in the new year perhaps?

Congrat's DD! What you've described is much of what happens on autoshite regularly, without points. We're all struggling there to keep up with Devon and Dorset as being a top wibblepoo attracting area, though I'm just about to go for a drive-about to find an HA van and some other oddities I've seen before. When driving around in spotting mode you go much slower, constantly use your mirrors in case of a panic stop and are always assessing where you can pull up in case a crafty spotting opportunity presents itself And you'll love the chance to visit somewhere new.

The Citroen H van could be anything from 1964 to 1981 - yes, they made them until that late! Introduced in 1947 and pioneering monocoque construction, front wheel drive and flat load space.

I raced a gold ital 1300 identical to that one in about 1998. Just out of MOT, distinctly un-tatty and low miles.when I stripped it it was in really good shape. Had very bad karma ever since
