Hi all, up for sale here is my mk3 golf TDI estate, the only reason for sale is a fancy a change really and ideally a swap for something different interesting, no real rush to sell and if it doesn't ill just keep it,
I took this in PX on another car I was selling a few months back, and its been a brilliant car I’ve done around 3000 miles in it with no issues or problems at all.
Ill start with the paintwork, its chalkboard paint, this was done by the previous owner .... by hand ... with a roller... so as you may expect the finish isn't amazing but its perfectly presentable but overall the bodywork isn't bad with only a small dent on the driver side wing.
Within the last few hundred miles its had the Oil/Filter and Air Filter changed so its good for a while yet servicing wise.
The engine and gearbox are spot on, it starts first turn of the key hot or cold. Tiny little puff of smoke on initial start up in the morning just to say hello! you can tell it has been looked after previously. Returns great MPG as you would expect.
All four tyres are good with loads of tread on the rears and the fronts I believe being new just before I acquired the car .
The interior is in great nick, and for the age and mileage I would say it way above average condition, got a boot load cover which is ideal for hiding you stash of parts. Will come with a CD player but not the Alpine one pictured.
Mot: July 2012 (will be renewing next month if not sold by then)
Tax: End of July 2012
MIleage: 173,000 ish will change as still using daily.
Service history: A fair bit a folder full of receipts etc.
Bad points: The windscreen has a few chips but these don't affect the MOT. The passenger side door look doesn't work from the outside but opens on the central locking. No rear wiper, this was removed and blanked over by the previous owner. That's all I can think of really.
I welcome anyone interested to come have gander and take car out for a test drive.
