A mate is selling up his van as he no longer needs it. The details I've got are its a 1.9D, has circa 73k on the clock, he has roller painted it blue (but it looks respectable) and it will have a fresh MOT put on it. He wants �600 for it    |

Hi what does it need for the mot ? I am looking for a van and have a strange fondness for these. Would need to sell my car first but interested.

As far as he is aware, it doesn't need anything, but as its not been in for one he can't say. The reduction in price for as is is due to the hassel of getting it re-insured ect

Golf is a 1.8 petrol, carb. Timing belt changed at 126k miles I'm told. Now has 137k miles. Passed MOT April this year with minor pick ups. Taxed til end of august.
I'll take some pics and try to upload them for you.
It's a pale metallic green. Surface rust is just starting on boot and a door but I plan to attack that this week. Has alloys and is regularly serviced.
Obviously it would be easier to swap as I don't have to sell the Golf first but I understand if he just wants to sell the van.
