Description
For sale our mk2 Fiat 127.
It is a 1979 model and has done approx 44k mls. It started life as a standard 1050, but has got some engine mods now including a complete Sport top end- cylinder head, cam, inlet manifold, fitted with a twin choke Weber 34 of a GT, Vernier pulley, k&n air filter, down pipe and a big exhaust, etc.
It had the cam belt and head gasket replaced when the work was done. Also got new wheel bearing all round, new rear shocks, top engine mounts, NOS N/S door and tailgate fitted and loads more. The list goes on.
It`s a very solid little car and had a minimum amount of welding done in the past. It`s currently all stripped out apart from the two front seat, but there is a complete Sport interior included in the sale, I.e. seats, headlining, door card, parcel shelf, carpet. All in good condition apart from the front seats which will need a bit of work.
Loads of other new and old parts included in the sale.
The car drives as it should and it sounds great. A very willing little engine which should be putting out around 70hp.
Still has few little niggles, but all the electrics and gauges work. A nice little project for someone. The car would look great in some bright Fiat colour.
No P/X or swaps as I`ve got way too many cars as it is.
Only selling it as I bought something a bit more practical. If I could afford to keep it, I would!
