If you put the hubcaps back on, you wouldn't know they were banded, so essentially you're photoshopping something that's hidden?

they're a b1tch to cut down neatly, cos they're quite thin stainless. youd also need to come up with an alternative method of mouning them too, as they attach with clips in the vents, which youd be cutting off.

the trims are 15 1/4" so was hoping they would fit in a 16" banded wheel with little or no modification then ill tags or a band on the inner part of the wheel to hold them on. Well thats the idea anyway.

Spotted this on a show some years back... Banded, chromed steels with the early style smal hubcaps that go in the center: Quit neat if you ask me Was thinking of going that route with my Tea

What you want is either the 13" steelies found on W110 and W111 Fintail Benz's, or like I have: 14" steelies from an early w108 or a late w113 Pagoda SL. They all feature a separate inner hubcap, and an outer trim ring on the 14" ones. Band to death for instant win!

Well I'm going to put this one in here at least. If you've got Google Chrome you can translate the blog... sort of. It's at least partially understandable.
