For sale with 11month MOT and six months tax, Pug 106 Diesel. Central Locking, Sunroof, loads of service history, recently serviced and some recent new parts.
Mileage - 110,000 (clocks stopped working a couple of thousand ago, which I can verify with old MOT's and a pile of service history and invoices)
This little car easily does 55-65 mpg and will happily sit with other motorway traffic all day long. I bought it as a little runabout to do my 40mile round trip commute in everyday and it has been ultra reliable.
This car has been well looked after, and apart from one or two little niggles it is in a good presentable condition, would make an ideal first car or just a frugal runaround for not alot of money!
I have done the following since since I bought her in Jan:
New Stop solenoid (old one stuck, common fault)
New oil, oil filter, air filter,
OSF wheel bearing.
Body work is very straight and original, only one or two small dings, worst one is on drivers door where wind caught it and it opened too far, hasn't affected how door functions. Will add pics if required.
Bad bits:
Speedo stopped working about 2k ago, this in turn means mileage has stopped rising. Not a difficult fix for someone with a bit of time to spend.
Small bit of wear on drivers seat, (where you park your bum
)
otherwise interior is excellent for age, back seats hardly used!
No stereo, though can get a decent DVD/CD player for a great price if interested.
Back wash/wipe not working, although this is not an MOT requirement and iv never been bothered by it.
Good Bits:
Low miles for year, engine is sweet and starts first time every time, even in cold weather. Engine bay is very tidy and shows little signs of age, (MOT tester was really impressed with her)
Geabox is great too, iv driven other similar 106s with terribly sloppy gerboxs, this one is tight and as it should be.
Has original decal and mats for the Slalom edition car.
Has original books, lots of service history and original bill of sale in peugeot wallet.
Is just a nice honest reliable motor that will keep on going for many more miles with little expendable.
The car doesnt have powersteering or electric windows.
