1999 Volkswagen B5 Passat TDI 110bhp Estate
First thing I need to mention is that this is a CAT C (I think). States on logbook “Substantially repaired and/or accident damaged: Identity checked on 22/09/2009” (I also have certificate to prove) the only damage as far as I am aware was the tailgate (crazy I know)… That tailgate is still on the car and as much as it looks a mess it still opens and shuts as it should.
Ok so it has done 256000 miles, clutch is on its last legs, smokes like curse word when its first started in the morning or when you drive it hard, and generally isn’t in the best of condition, rattles and cluncks…. However that said it is mega reliable and it just refuses to die.
Its Red, Has grey cloth interior (with black seat covers) all a bit tatty and well used.
Pretty much everything works (I think)
I have racked up 45000 in it in about 18 months. I don’t drive economically and it returns a constant 47mpg
As everyone knows the AFN engine is almost bomb proof.
It has MOT unil the end of Sept and is also Taxed until the end of Sept.
The only reason I am selling is that I do about 2500 miles a month and I am going to invest in another Passat of lower mileage. I love these cars and have had a couple now.
So lets summarise; Its red, not the best of conditions, May require a clutch in the not to distant future and a CAT C…. BUT it is mega reliable, cheep to run and you can fit so much junk in the back of it….

No idea what its worth but for the sake of starting somewhere…. £500
