I have rebuilt the servo on my Zody, it's a mk2 remote servo. The problem now is the brakes lock on It's about 3 pumps, a little is pressure is left each time. I then have to release some fluid from one of the pipes to let the brakes off. Any ideas on what I have done wrong ? thank you

Grunty are the brakes ok if you disconect the vacume pipe from the servo?

it sounds like its a problem on the vac side of things maybe, so as the piston does not return- a spring maybe, or whatever overates the vacuum on / off?

Is the pushrod into the servo adjustable? Had troubles like this on a Landy before.

Had this with a 1962 Land Rover when I fitted a remote servo. Repaced all the flexi pipes and problem gone. I think that fitting a servo will find any weak spots in in the system and make them worse. We did the same to a friends LR which did the opposite and blew the seals on a rear cylinder within seconds. Again, repacement cured the issue.

not getting notifications Servo is remote so no pushrod to worry about, hoses are pretty new brakes were fine before. Not tried disconnecting vaccuum pipe. I have since found out that in some of the rebuild kits the foam that goes behind the leather seal is a bit stiff which results in the air piston not fully returning. Going to try that over the weekend. thank you chaps

Remember having something similar on the Rally Amazon too, that had a remote servo. After much messing with the valve on the servo it was cured and never played up again.
