Hi guys, after owning this wonderful car for almost two years I have decided to put it up for sale for personal reasons.
Car is taxed and Mot'd for 6mths
Its was first registered on the 23/03/1986 so only 23 days after the T12 model went on sale in the UK (possibly oldest UK registered left), and has only just over 36k genuine mileage (backed up by MOT's dating from 1990. The car has only had two previous owners (uncle and his nephew).
Since I have owned the car the power-steering rack has been professionally rebuilt using original rack by Western Power Steering in Bristol (www.westernpowersteering.co.uk) and PAS pump replaced. It has also benefitted in the last 200 miles from a new cambelt kit including all pulleys and a new water pump.
The car still has original dealer number plate, dealer sticker, original floor mats, tax disc holder and the interior is virtually unmarked, free from rips and tears.
The bodywork needs a little attention, mainly to the rear wheel arches which the previous (elderly) owner had scuffed on flat outer edge lip part of the arches. Someone had a go at the drivers door lock in the past, although the LED light on it still illuminates and lock functions fine.
The car is advertised elsewhere.
